Dear colleagues,

The IMU Commission for Developing Countries (CDC) is actively working
on improving its funding solutions. It strongly encourages
mathematicians and students from developing countries to apply to the
calls.

Please check the CDC website for further information. We especially
wish to draw attention of our colleagues to the updated list of
countries that are eligible for our programs.

Graduate Scholarships

IMU-Breakout Graduate Fellowship Program (deadline May 31, 2024)
Graduate Research Assistantships in Developing Countries (GRAID)
Program (the 2025 call for applications will open in the autumn of
2024. The 2024 deadline has passed.

Grants to Institutions

Volunteer Lecturer Program (next deadline June 1, 2024)
Library Assistance Scheme (no fixed deadline)

Grants for Conferences and Projects

Conference Support Program (next deadline April 15, 2024 for
conferences starting after August 15, 2024)

Grants for Individuals (Research Travel Grants)

Abel Visiting Scholar Program (next deadline April 30, 2024 for visits
between September 1 and December 31, 2024)
CDC is launching a new program called IMU-Simons Research Fellowship
Program for Developing Countries which will start April 15, 2024,
applications are already accepted.
