To: The Adhering Organizations of the International Mathematical Union (IMU)
Dear colleagues

One of the important tasks of the Executive Committee of the IMU is to
establish the Program Committee for the International Congress of
Mathematicians (ICM). The next ICM will take place in Philadelphia in 2026.

The Program Committee is responsible for the selection of all speakers at
the ICM in 2026. You are hereby invited to propose members for the Program
Committee. Members of the Program Committee cannot speak themselves at the
ICM.

Please note that members of recent Program Committees are not eligible (a
list of all former Program Committees can be found here
<https://www.mathunion.org/icm/past-icms#on-page-1>).

Your proposal should include a brief letter of recommendation as well as a
CV of the candidates [pdf-format only]. Candidates should not be contacted
prior to the nomination, as the composition of the Program Committee
(except its chair) will only be made public at ICM 2026.

The deadline is 12 February 2023, and proposals should be sent to me at
secretary en mathunion.org.
