Estimados,

El profesor Benoît Valiron (CentraleSupélec - LRI, Université Paris  
Saclay) nos visita por cuenta del Proyecto ANII FCE "Realizabilidad,  
Forcing y Computación Cuántica". El viernes 16 a las 15.30 hs en el  
Salón Negro de la Facultad de Ingeniería, Valiron ofrece una charla de  
interés general para matemáticos, físicos e informáticos, cuyo resumen  
va a continuación:

Title : Quantum algorithms from a programmer's perspective.

Abstract :

In this talk, we will see what is quantum information and what can be
done with it. We shall first look at the mathematical formalism needed
to represent quantum data and computation. We will then discuss the
practical implementation of quantum computers. We shall finally
analyze the techniques used to write quantum algorithm, both from the
point of view of complexity theory and from the perspective of
language design.
