The CRM announces the following activity:

Advanced Course on Foliations: Dynamics-Geometry-Topology
3-7 May 2010
Centre de Recerca Matemàtica, Bellaterra, Barcelona

One advanced course will present the fundaments of foliation theory,  
and the other advanced courses will introduce some of its most active  
areas, like dynamics of foliations, classifying spaces, index theory  
for foliations and group actions, or rigidity and leafwise cohomology.

These courses should provide the audience with the necessary tools to  
work on some of the most important unsolved problems on foliation  
theory.
