The CRM announces the following activity:

Conference on Geometry and Topology of Foliations
12-16 July 2010
Centre de Recerca Matemàtica, Bellaterra, Barcelona

This conference will be devoted to the theory of foliations in all of  
its aspects (topological, geometrical, dynamical, analytic, etc.), and  
to its strong connections with other theories in topology, geometry,  
dynamics and global analysis. It should be considered as the  
continuation of the series of annual big meetings on foliations, the  
last ones were in Krakow and Santiago de Compostela (2008), Río de  
Janeiro (2007) and Lodz (Poland, 2005). The invited speakers were  
chosen among the most relevant researchers on foliations (Dmitry  
Bolotov, Alberto Candel, Aziz El Kacimi, Steven Hurder, Yuri  
Kordyukov, Remi Langevin, Álvaro Lozano, Gaël Meigniez, Jorge Vitorio  
Pereira, Paul Schweitzer, Takashi Tsuboi).  We hope that most of the  
specialists on foliations and related topics will participate in this  
conference.
