TWO POSDOC POSITIONS

Announcement

The Institute of Mathematics of Federal University of Alagoas - Brazil
invites applications for *two pos-doc* positions *up to 5 years *in
Mathematics as soon as possible. The deadline for applications is *February
25th, 2010*.  The fellowships are part of the PNPD by the scientific agency
CAPES-Brazil.

Successful candidates must have a Ph.D. in an area of the mathematical
sciences,   not before November, 2004, no permanent position at any
university and a strong commitment with research.

Federal University of Alagoas is located in the city of  Maceio at the State
of Alagoas, Brazil and  is  the biggest university of Alagoas/Brazil. Our
institution is a primarily an undergraduate institution with a number of
master's and PhD's degree programs. Our Institute offers bachelor's degrees
in mathematics, mathematics education,  a Master of Science degree in
mathematics and a PhD Program in Mathematics. .

Areas of interest within the faculty include PDE, Dynamical Systems,
Differential Geometry and Computer Graphics.  We value a serious commitment
to research.

Federal University of Alagoas offers to the sucessful applicant a
