The Mathematics Unites Photo Challenge also attracted 3,200 entries, with several hundreds <br>displayed in online galleries. The 48h live coverage of the IDM attracted more than 32,000 unique users on March 14, 2022. <br>A <a href="https://www.idm314.org/2022-global-event.html" target="_blank">Global Virtual Live Celebration</a> on the theme <i>Mathematics Unites</i> took place on March 14 with sessions in Arabic, Portuguese, <div>English, French and Spanish attracting 898, 2,374, 5,434, 454, and 708 views respectively.<br> <br>It is now time to decide the theme of IDM 2023. A call for proposals for the theme of IDM 2023 is now open with a deadline of <br> <b>31 May 2022</b>. <br>Suggestions for a theme, together with a short justification, can be sent by email to <a href="mailto:idm@mathunion.org" target="_blank">idm@mathunion.org</a>.<br> <br>Let me remind you that the IDM 2020, 2021, and 2022 themes were <i>Mathematics is Everywhere</i>, <i>Mathematics for a Better World</i>, <br>and <i>Mathematics Unites</i>. As added context, we also wish to inform you that IMU is one of the founding partners of the <br>International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development 2022 (<a href="https://www.iybssd2022.org/en/home/" target="_blank">IYBSSD 2022</a>), which was proclaimed by the General </div><div>Assembly of the United Nations in December 2021.
