Daniel Nikolova asked me to try and get this sent out to South
American mathematicians.
I wonder if some portion of it could be sent to a mailing list for one of
the previous conferences
in Uruguay, if it still exist.

  It has been 4 years since you organized the ICM satellite conference in
Montevideo.


Now, I want to intensify our links with South America’s Group Theory, and
Combinatorics researchers.

Unfortunately, I cannot remember any names. Can you please spread the news

I am writing to you to invite you to take part in the conference I am
organizing in the Sunshine state Florida:

*“Combinatorics, Computing, Group Theory and Applications in South Florida”*

*(CCGTA IN SOUTH FLA).*



With the hope that Omicron and its post-variants will be disappearing, I am
planning this conference to take place in Boca Raton, Florida, from August
14 till August 21 (my birthday), 2022, in person.

In case the pandemic would not allow it to happen at that time, we have
other options in mind too.



The purpose of the conference is to bring together experts in Group Theory,
Combinatorics and Computing to discuss computational, algorithmic and
application aspects that have recently emerged at the interface between
these areas.

We will focus somewhat on different applications to other sciences*.* We
will also explore computational approaches like Computational group theory.
Important areas of application will include Cryptography, Cyber-security,
Error-Correcting Coding and Communication theories.

Two special sessions will be organized: one day presentations will be given
by young researchers, another day – by female mathematicians.



This a preliminary personal invitation to you. Further details will be soon
posted.
