*CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: 2022 SIMONS POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS *
*OFFSITE *· *UNITED STATES*
*The Mathematical Sciences Research Institute seeks applicants for four
Postdoctoral Fellowships (PD) beginning Fall 2022.*

Because of the likely crisis in academic jobs caused by the pandemic,
the Simons
Foundation
<https://msri.us10.list-manage.com/track/click?u=d58ee2e82c69809ff037f56b2&id=8889644178&e=7c869fe4e1>
is generously providing support for one-year postdoctoral positions in the
mathematical sciences, beginning in Fall 2022. Four of these positions will
be distributed through the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute
(MSRI). *The
positions will not be hosted at MSRI in Berkeley, California; they will
take place at a mentor's home institution in the United States.*

As these fellowship are not affiliated with MSRI’s on-site scientific
programs, *there is no restriction on fields within the mathematical
sciences*, though we are unable to consider applicants in Math Education.

Fellowships will only be awarded to postdocs who do not have a job or offer
from another institution by February 1, 2022. Applications from women and
historically underrepresented groups are especially encouraged.
