with the option for the speaker to come to CIMPA (Nice, France) to  
record their lectures.

The CIMPA School “Analyse numérique & optimisation, contrôle et  
problèmes inverses" was held online. This was made possible thanks to  
the efforts and generosity of the organizers (Hanaa Hachimi

Ramoul) and the speakers (Franck Boyer

Gander [https://www.unige.ch/~gander/], Manuel Gonzalez Burgos

adapted to the current circumstances in order to enable the school to  
go ahead.

The school took place in three stages:

1. The speakers recorded their lectures, some at home and others at  
CIRM (Marseille, France) to take advantage of the professional  
recording facilities there and be together;

2. the courses were made available on the CIMPA YouTube channel  
[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCODuY1kwsy8oXkxs2Suu2Sw]. Students  
could watch the videos and ask the lecturers questions via a Zulip  
chat over three weeks;

3. students and speakers gathered online to share the corrections that  
were prepared by some students and to do tutorials on mathematical  
software.

problèmes inverses » s'est tenue en ligne. Cela a été rendu possible  
grâce aux efforts et à la générosité des organisateurs (Hanaa Hachimi

L'école s'est déroulée en trois étapes :

1. Les intervenants ont enregistré leurs cours, certains à la maison  
et d'autres au CIRM (Marseille, France) pour profiter des  
installations d'enregistrement professionnelles et être ensemble;

2. les cours ont été mis en ligne sur la chaîne YouTube CIMPA Math  
[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCODuY1kwsy8oXkxs2Suu2Sw]. Les  
étudiants pouvaient regarder les vidéos et poser leurs questions sur  
Zulip (application de chat) aux professeurs pendant trois semaines;

3. les étudiants et les intervenants se sont réunis en ligne pour  
partager les corrections préparées par certains étudiants et faire des  
tutoriels avec des logiciels mathématiques.

CRM INTENSIVE RESEARCH PROGRAMME
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE CRM PROGRAMME "IRP HIGHER HOMOTOPICAL  
STRUCTURES".

The call is for participation in the program from May 17 to July 10.  
Over these 2 months the successful candidates will be able to follow  
the activities of this Intensive Research Programme at the CRM in  
Barcelona (Spain).

The deadline for requests for financial support is February 15, 2021.
