Fellowship Programme (Call for 2019 Fellowship Applications)



Dear colleagues,



The Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea of the Office of
Legal Affairs (“OLA/DOALOS”), is now accepting applications for the 2019
session of the United Nations - The Nippon Foundation Fellowship Programme
(please see attached notification).


The main objective of the Fellowship is to provide advanced education and
training in the field of ocean affairs and the law of the sea, and related
disciplines, to government officials and other mid-level professionals from
developing States.

Additional information is available on www.un.org/depts/los/nippon
including a detailed outline of the requisite qualifications, the
application package, and the current list of participating institutions.*The
application deadline is September 14, 2018*.

As per past practice we would be grateful for your assistance in
circulating information about this programme and the attached
notification.  The continued wide publicity and support provided by the
UNICs Directors in the past years has continued to contribute to the
success of this Fellowship Programme.
