First Announcement

A WORKSHOP ON HYPERBOLIC DYNAMICS will be held at the Abdus Salam  
International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) on June 19-23 2017  
to celebrate the work of Yakov Pesin on the occasion of his 70th  
birthday. The workshop is organised by D. Dolgopyat, F. Rodriguez  
Hertz, S. Luzzatto and O. Sarig.

confirmed speakers. A link for application/registration will be added  
soon. Some financial support is available for local expenses but we  
emphasise that the available budget is at the moment very minimal.

There will also be two other related activities in Italy in the same  
month. On June 5-9 2017 in Rome there will be the “Workshop INDAM -  
DinAmici V - Modern Trends in the Ergodic Theory  of Dynamical

on June 12-16 2017 there will (hopefully) be a school in Dynamical  
Systems at the Centro de Giorgi http://crm.sns.it <http://crm.sns.it/>  
in Pisa (to be confirmed) in conjunction with the workshop at ICTP the  
following week.
