Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to make a first annoucement for the International Conference «NONLINEAR ANALYSIS AND APPLICATIONS» (ICNAA-2016)will be September 18 - 24, 2016 in Samarkand State University, Samarkand, UzbekistanChair of Program Committee: A.D. Bruno (http://brunoa.name (http://brunoa.name/)) Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics of RAS (Moscow, Russia) Co chairs of Organizing Committee: A.S. Soleev and A.R. Khalmukhamedov Samarkand State University (Uzbekistan) The topics of this conference are as follows:1. Algebraic equations. 2. Diophantine approximations and Diophantine equations. 3. Ordinary differential equations. 4. Painlevé equations. 5. Celestial Mechanics. 6. Partial differential equations. 7. Applications. The aim of the Conference: to review and to compare different methods of analysis of nonlinear problems corresponding to the mentioned topics, and to find the general and specific elements of these methods. Types of talks: plenary talks (one hour) and section talks (one hour, 40, 20 minutes and posters). Abstracts of talks will be published. Papers of the selected talks will be published in De Gruyter Publisher (Berlin), in Uzbekistan Mathematical Journal (Tashkent) and in Proceedings of the Samarkand State University (Samarkand). Conference languages: English and Russian. Conference site: http://icna.uz (http://icna.uz/) Samarkand City was the second capital of the Empire of Tamerlane (~ 1400 years). It preserved many beautiful and majestic architecture of that time. Tamerlane called nearby villages as London, Paris, Rome, etc., which sizes corresponded at that time. Ulugbek, the grandson of Tamerlane, was a great mathematician and astronomer, his astronomical observatory is kept. Large guided tour over Samarkand is planned. Shahkrisabz City was the birthplace of Tamerlane and his first capital. It also retained unique majestic buildings of the era; an additional excursion to Shahkrisabz City is planned. The rules of preparing abstracts and papers of talks, the registration fee, excursions, accommodation, traveling to Samarkand and other details will be in the Second Announcement.
