ENCUENTRO
The Encuentro Colombiano de Combinatoria aims to continue to expand
and strengthen the Colombian combinatorics community and its ties to
the community at large.
This summer school will focus on the state of the art of combinatorics
and its versatility to shed light on problems in algebra, geometry,
optimization, and mathematical physics, among other fields.
The school aims at bringing young mathematicians from Colombia and
Latin America into close contact with each other and with world
experts in the different fields of combinatorics. The activities are
designed to give everyone the opportunity to interact closely with
people at all stages of their mathematical career. The school is
structured in mini courses taught by international experts, problem
sessions, research talks, a discussion panel, and an active social
program. This is part of a long term goal to build a strong regional
community of mathematicians in combinatorics and related fields.
