Nuestra búsqueda se orienta a estudiantes avanzados o recibidos de
Ingeniería Química con experiencia y/o gusto por el área comercial, siendo
valorado el haber realizado cursos de ventas, marketing o similar. Se
considera importante contar con buen manejo de herramientas informáticas y
conocimientos del idioma inglés.
Desafíos

Tendrá como principal responsabilidad la atención y desarrollo del mercado
de grandes clientes industriales. Deberá detectar oportunidades para nuevas
aplicaciones de gases (carbonatación, congelado, atmósfera modificada,
tratamiento de efluentes, entre otras) liderando todo el proceso hasta su
implantación. También tendrá participación en los procesos de calidad
relacionados con el sector comercial.

La propuesta:

en su rubro de forma efectiva obteniendo una remuneración acorde a las
responsabilidades encomendadas.

Horario: lunes a Viernes de 7:42 a 12:00 y 13:00 a 17:30.

   PhD studentship in ocean acidification effects on marine copepods

   The Norwegian Polar Institute (NPI) is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic
   candidate for a PhD studentship in marine plankton
   ecology and evolution. The position is within the plankton/ecotoxicology
   group at NPI with affiliation to the Fram Centre Flagship “Ocean
   acidification and ecosystems effects in Northern waters”. This position
   receives funding via the Norwegian
   Research Council (Hav&Kyst programme) and has duration of 3 years.

   Work description

   The position will be linked to our on-going research on ocean acidification
   (OA) effects on marine zooplankton in collaboration with Akvaplan-niva
   (Apn) and the Institute of Marine Research (IMR). The successful
   candidate will be expected to conduct a series of experimental studies
   on OA effects through several generations in boreal and Arctic copepod
   populations (Calanus finmarchicus and C. glacialis) subjected to
   different levels of increased CO2 concentrations. It is our intention
   that the candidate should investigate how OA influences evolutionary
   selection in different physiological traits such as growth, respiration,
   and enzymatic activity and how plasticity in these traits may counteract
   selection.
   Furthermore, we have on-going collaborations with molecular biologists to
   investigate changes in gene expression and protein expression during OA,
   and we expect the candidate to make use of this collaboration during
   her/his studies.

   Qualifications

   Formal competence as Master of Science or equivalent is required. We seek
   candidates with experience in experimental ecological and/or evolutionary
   studies. Experience with experimental work on zooplankton is considered
   an advantage. The position is based in Tromsø, but the experimental
   studies will be conducted at IMR’s field station at Austevoll near
   Bergen, and at the Kings Bay Marine Lab in Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard. We
   therefore seek candidates who are able to conduct independent research,
   and are willing to relocate as part of the studies.

   General

   The work place is the Norwegian Polar Institute in Tromsø, Norway.
The candidate
   will be formally enrolled and supervised at a Norwegian University,
   preferably the University of Tromsø, with researchers from NPI and Apn
   as external supervisors. The salary will be commensurate with the
   qualifications of the successful candidate, according to the Norwegian
   State salary code 1017, research fellow, scale 50-54 (NOK 416 600 – 445
   100). The position is open immediately.
