Second Announcement

CIMPA-CIMAT-SWAGPS School and Workshop

MODULI SPACES AND MATHEMATICAL PHYSICS

        CIMAT, Guanajuato, Mexico, January 21st - February 4th, 2013

(as part of the SWAGPS Schools and Workshops, and a Four Month
programme on Moduli Spaces, 2013, CIMAT, which is a Satellite
Activity of the Mathematical Congress of the Americas)

Web page: http://www.cimat.mx/Eventos/moduli_spaces2013/

The theory of Moduli Spaces has experienced an extraordinary
development in recent decades, establishing an increasing number of
connections with other fields of mathematics and with physics. This
school is an introduction to subjects of current interest related to
moduli spaces of augmented bundles and physics and will be directed to
students and researchers in mathematics and physics interested in the
subject. It aims at introducing young mathematicians to the
foundations of the theory, to some of its major developments and the
tools used for its study, and also to providing a few glimpses on some
more advanced topics.

The school will be followed by a Workshop. These activities are part
of the 4 month programme on Moduli Spaces 2013 in CIMAT
(http://www.cimat.mx/Eventos/moduli_spaces2013/), of the Schools and
Workshops on Algebraic Geometry and Physics (SWAGPS) that have been
organized since 1996 in different
countries(http://people.sissa.it/~bruzzo/swagps/swagps.html).
