TO RESEARCH CENTRES AND UNIVERSITIES

WORKING IN FOOD AND NUTRITION RESEARCH

*The MAITRE project *offers to research centres and universities located in
Europe and Associated countries the opportunity to *HOST A PROFESSIONAL
MEDIA TRAINING* for its researchers completely *free of charge*.

*MAITRE - Media Actions for the International Training of
Researchers<http://www.maitreproject.eu/>
* is a EU-funded project by the European Commission under the 7th Framework
Programme. It aims at giving to food and nutrition research a higher
profile in Europe, by providing professional media trainings to researchers
and PhD students.

The MAITRE media trainings:

• Are given by senior science journalists

• Take place over 2 full days

• Are organised at the premises of the research organisation (in a room for
around 20 people)

• Are open to a maximum number of 16 researchers and press officers of the
organisation (upon prior registration)

• Are focused on practical aspects and give participants concrete tools to
be used while communicating

Research centres and Universities interested in this opportunity are
welcome to contact MAITRE team for more information; there is still
opportunity to host a MAITRE's seminar in 2013/2014.
