Applications are invited for THREE postdoctoral fellowships at Centro de
Investigacion en Matematicas A.C. (CIMAT), Mexico.


The position are available for  3 years, starting BETWEEN  January  2nd
AND OCTOBER 1st. 2012.

Teaching load of one course a year,  starting on the second year.

SOME BASIC KNOLLEDGE OF SPANISH IS RECOMMENDED BUT NOT REQUIRED.

Applicants should have obtained or expect to receive a PhD in Mathematics
OR Applied Mathematics in the last 5 YEARS.

THE POSITIONS ARE OPEN TO ALL AREAS OF MATHEMATICS BUT PREFERENCE WILL BE
GIVEN TO APPLICANTS WHOSE RESEARCH INTERESTS ARE RELATED TO THOSE OF THE
FACULTY AT CIMAT : ALGEBRAIC GEOMETRY, ANALYSIS,  DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS,
DIFFERENTIAL GEOMETRY, TOPOLOGY AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS.

CIMAT IS A LEADING INSTITUTION IN RESEARCH IN MATHEMATICS IN MEXICO AND
PROVIDES A VERY ACTIVE RESEARCH ENVIRONMENT.

THE SALARY IS $346 019.00 MEXICAN PESOS PER YEAR BEFORE TAXES. SOME FUNDS
FOR TRAVEL AND OTHER ACADEMIC EXPENSES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE.
