Dear Colleagues,

there is an open position in Partial Differential Equations, Differential
Geometry or Algebraic Geometry at the Abdus Salam International Centre for
Theoretical Physics in Trieste. I enclose the formal announcement with
further details.

Please keep in mind that the is to all effects and purposes a PERMANENT
POSITION, although this is not completely clear from the announcement. Also
the level of the position is essentially a mid-career position
(associate/full professor) so researchers who are already established and
may even already have a permanent job might still find that this position is
competitive both in terms of salary, location, and professional/research
environment. Brilliant young researchers as well as more senior researchers
are of course also encouraged to apply.
